Product Recalls from Around the Nation

Most of the time, a product recall is no big deal. The manufacturer of a particular product – including food – realizes that there is a problem and is trying to get the item off the market before it causes harm to anybody.

Unfortunately, there are situations in which a defective product leads to serious injury or even death. This can hold true with defective toys as well as “bad” food among other items.

For a better idea of how serious this can be, here are several product recall news stories from the past week.
