Auto Accidents are more Common than Many Believe

The longer you drive without being involved in an auto accident the easier it is to believe that this will never happen to you.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, approximately 2.4 million people are injured in auto accidents in the United States every year. Along with this, more than 30,000 people die from injuries.

Now do you believe this could never happen to you?

Many of these accidents result from negligent driving, such as running a red light, speeding, or drinking and driving.

If you are injured in an accident, due to the negligence of another driver, you may be able to receive compensation for your injuries. The same holds true if a loved one has been killed in such an accident.

There are things you can do to stay safe while driving, such as following the rules of the road and wearing a safety belt at all times. Even then, this does not change the fact that those around you can make mistakes.
